National Institute for the Deaf - Successful Charity 2018
For the past 135 years (since 1881), the National Institute for the Deaf (NID), situated in the Western Cape, is the foremost organisation in South Africa providing all-inclusive services to the Deaf and persons with hearing loss in South Africa and Africa. Their vision is to develop the full potential of every person with hearing loss through the services they offer: Occupational Training (College), Deaf Elderly Care, Care of Deaf Adults with multiple disabilities and various other support services.
Type: Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon
Costs: Half Marathon is R370 per entry and includes NID Run for the Deaf T-shirt and Goodie bag. Participants are also required to raise a minimum of R2 000 of funds (additional to the R370) to the benefit of NID Deaf beneficiaries. Ultra Marathon is R670 per entry - includes NID Run for the Deaf T-shirt and Goodie bag. Participants are also required to raise a minimum of R3 000 of funds (additional to the R670) to the benefit of NID Deaf beneficiaries.
PLEASE NOTE: Half Marathon entries are their preferred choice if both cannot be allocated.
